Day 1

Depart UK

As with all of our holidays, you’ll kick things off in style with VIP lounge access before your overnight flight to Singapore.

Day 2

Historic Singapore by bike

On arrival, you’ll be met for a private transfer to the Fullerton Bay, located right in the heart of Marina Bay. With its rooftop infinity pool, cocktail bar, French brasserie and ultra-modern rooms, it’s the ideal base for taking in Singapore’s contrasting array of attractions. Alongside your hotel's range of complimentary heritage walking tours, we've included a bike excursion that showcases the city's historic gems. Expect everything from the vibrancy of Little India and Chinatown to the city's Muslim quarter, Kampong Glam, with its 19th-century shophouses and the golden domes of Sultan Mosque. You'll even have time to pause for local snacks and a refreshing drink in a coffee shop.

Outside of your tour, the Gardens by the Bay are yet another highlight, a green space combining striking architecture, elevated walkways and sweeping waterfront views. You might even decide to pop into Raffle’s famous Long Bar for an iconic Singapore Sling.

Day 3

Singapore’s colonial past

With your expert guide, today you'll discover how the city grew over the past 200 years from a humble fishing village to one of the world’s great urban centres. You’ll start where it all began, at Raffles Landing Site before charting the city's recent history from a free-trade port to one of the world's financial superpowers, now showcased in the glass and steel of the Financial District where immaculately restored warehouses recall Singapore’s maritime past as chic restaurants and trendy bars look out across the quayside. Take it all in with your expert guide before enjoying that most iconic of Singapore traditions – afternoon tea at Raffles. Your day of discovery ends with a traditional bumboat ride along the Singapore River.

Days 4 – 6

Sentosa Island

You’ll be met at your hotel after breakfast on day four for the short private transfer south to Sentosa – an island of swaying palms and golden sands just off Singapore’s south coast. You’ll be staying at the Capella – a luxury hotel wrapped up in verdant gardens, where rooms offer stunning sea views from private balconies, the spa serves up spoiling treatments and the dining is strictly gourmet.

You’ll have three days here to, perhaps soaking up the sun by the pool or on the beach, squeezing in a round or two of golf or indulging in the thrills of Sentosa’s theme parks. And, the delights of the city are still within easy reach, from the shops of Orchard Road to the world-renowned Singapore Zoo. Back at base, there's also a full range of complimentary activities. Taste your way through rum menus, cocktail mixings and cooking classes, or unwind with a yoga or painting session. The art tour is also excellent.

About the itinerary

"I love Singapore. The food is amazing, the locals are welcoming and there's so much to see, with colonial treasures and dazzling temples watched over by an ultra-modern skyline, creating a contrast of old and new quite unlike anywhere else. I've put together this itinerary to showcase the city's mix of attractions, while adding in a little bit of luxury along the way. In between says in two superb hotels, we'll arrange tours in the company of expert local guides, who'll bring you to the city's best spots. I've even thrown in an afternoon tea at the Fullerton – it's arguably the best in the city. And, you'll round it all off on sun-kissed Sentosa, making this a wonderful city and beach combination."
