Krishna was born and raised in India, where she worked in travel for four years. During this time she gained plenty of travel experience throughout India and Sri Lanka, and there are few places she hasn’t been. Her first-hand experience is topped up with annual visits, and it’s the hospitality and kindness of the people that keep her returning every year.
Outside the Indian Subcontinent, Krishna has ventured to the Galápagos Islands, the Amazon rainforest and explored the mountain lodges of Peru. Also well-travelled through Africa, she has joined in a Masai jumping dance, rode the luxurious Rovos Rail through Swaziland, seen the giant salt pans of Makgadikgadi and enjoyed a leisurely mokoro ride in the Okavango Delta. Krishna has also got to know the Himba tribe in Namibia’s Sesfontein settlement and climbed the country’s Sossusvlei dunes and spotted all the Big Five. With 20 years’ experience in long-haul travel, she is a fountain of knowledge for her clients and is always happy to share secrets and those hidden gems that make for a truly memorable holiday.
