This is a spectacular showcase of Southern Africa’s diverse beauty, starting with a luxury stay on Cape Town’s vibrant V&A Waterfront. From here, you’ll discover the city’s famous sights on a guided tour, including Table Mountain, and enjoy a full day excursion to the Cape Peninsula, including the chance to spot penguins at Boulders Beach and take in magnificent ocean views from Cape Point. You’ll then fly north for a stay at an intimate, family-run safari lodge in Greater Kruger National Park, where twice-daily game drives with expert rangers will reveal the region’s rich array of wildlife – with potential sightings of the Big Five. Your adventure then concludes in unforgettable style in Zimbabwe with a private guided tour of the mesmerising Victoria Falls – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World – and a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River.
On arrival in Cape Town, a private transfer will bring you to the Queen Victoria Hotel – a stylish, boutique hotel in the vibrant V&A Waterfront district, where you’ll be based for the first three nights of your trip. Over the next few days, you’ll have ample time to explore the myriad delights of Cape Town and its surroundings. As well as a private half-day Table Mountain and Cape Town city guided tour, you’ll enjoy a full day excursion to the Cape Peninsula, during which you’ll take in magnificent ocean views from Cape Point, spot penguins at Boulders Beach and visit the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Each day, you’ll return to five-star luxury at your hotel, where you can unwind in the tranquil spa, cool off in the pool and savour exquisite, farm-to-table cuisine at the fine dining restaurant.
Breakfast included
A private transfer will bring you to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit, from which you’ll be whisked away to Motswari Private Game Reserve – an intimate, family-run lodge in Greater Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Here, you’ll be staying in one of 15 beautifully-appointed en-suite bungalows with scenic views looking out over the South African bush. Throughout your stay you’ll be treated to delicious, full-board meals accompanied by specially selected wines, as well as twice-daily game drives with expert rangers in the untamed wilderness of Timbavati Private Game Reserve, which offer the chance to spot a vast array of animals, including each of the Big Five, in their natural habitat. When you’re not out on game drives, you may wish to partake in mid-morning bush walks, relax by the pool, and cosy up by the fire pit in the boma area. And, if you're lucky, you might even enjoy some superb wildlife viewing from the lodge itself – so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Leaving South Africa behind, you’ll fly north to take in the awe-inspiring spectacle of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World: Victoria Falls, which forms a natural border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Head over to Stanley’s Terrace for afternoon tea accompanied by spectacular views of the Victoria Falls Bridge, and indulge in a seven-course tasting menu and award-winning wines at the opulent Livingstone Room. Jungle Junction, meanwhile, serves lavish breakfast and dinner buffets, and hosts nightly entertainment in the form of traditional dancing and music. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, including the likes of horse riding, canoeing, white water rafting and helicopter tours. The highlight of your time here will, of course, be a private guided tour of Victoria Falls, in which you’ll get up close to its mighty roar, followed by a sundowner cruise along the Zambezi River.
