This being Italy, you’ll forgive us for starting with the dining, with four restaurants and bars onboard. The signature offering, Rialto’s, offers fine Venetian cuisine, with our specialists citing the seafood as a real highlight. However, whatever you choose, you can expect sommelier-recommended wines, excellent service and a rarefied atmosphere, not least thanks to the exquisite, Orient-Express-inspired décor.
For a more casual, al-fresco alternative, there’s Cielo’s Pizzeria, while upgrading to Lan Cantinetta means fine dining in an intimate setting. Among its ebony lacquerware, you’ll be treated to fresher-than-fresh favorites hand-chosen by the chef and yourself at the market that day.
Then, retire to the Hari’s Bar for after-dinner cocktails and prosecco, paired with live entertainment. Its panini bar is a nice touch as well, although you might also want to enjoy your open-bar drinks on the sun deck. A compact fitness center and spa treatment offering round off the shared spaces.
The staterooms are a further highlight, each featuring river views, marbled bathrooms and beautiful Venetian designs. The British-made Savoir beds are a special favorite. We recommend upgrading for a French balcony, while suites mix in living space and impeccable butler service. Expect everything from an unpacking service and wine on arrival to shoe shining, included laundry service and daily fruit. There’s a fully stocked minibar and Nespresso machine, too.
