There really is something special about travelling by train. And, there are few trains more special than the Belmond British Pullman. Decked out in its traditional cream and umber livery, this icon of UK rail travel has hosted royalty and film stars, and its immaculately restored and individually styled carriages, with their rich fabrics and detailed marquetry, are as recognisable today as they were during the train’s heyday of the 1920s and 30s.

In more detail

While it might be best known as the sister to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, the Belmond British Pullman is a star in its own right. And, a selection of day trips afford the chance to revel in its romance and luxury, pairing ultra-scenic jaunts through the British countryside with the very best in authentic silver service and sumptuous gourmet dining – expect everything from lavish afternoon teas paired with British sparkling wines to four-course dinners which celebrate the country’s finest seasonal produce.

Running throughout the year, journeys range from celebrity-hosted lunches and dinners to iconic sporting events and days out in some of the UK’s most historic cities, complete with expert-led tours. Bath and Canterbury are two of our favourites, but don’t hesitate to contact us for the full list of options.
