Owing to its relatively compact size and outstanding staff-to-guest ratio, Seabourn Pursuit is, in many respects, akin to a luxury yacht, offering a far more intimate and personalised experience than that of larger vessels. It’s very much designed with the spirit of adventure at its core, with all the state-of-the-art technology you’d expect of a purpose-built expedition vessel, while simultaneously offering guests an abundance of space and world-class facilities to enjoy on every journey.
The spacious, elegantly furnished suites all feature private verandas, large, outward-facing windows, comfortable living areas, walk-in wardrobes and flat-screen TVs. There’s also the option to upgrade to a Penthouse Suite or Penthouse Panorama Suite, both of which come with a separate private dining area, while the highest category Owners Suites have extra privileges such as whirlpool tubs and their own pantries with wet bars.
There’s no shortage of stylish communal spaces in which to unwind, either – not least the Expedition Lounge, where you’ll find plenty of plush sofas and armchairs, along with a bar. And, of course, the culinary options are superb, both in terms of quality and variety, ranging from fine dining to more casual buffet-style venues. You can always dine in the privacy of your own suite, too, if you prefer.
The ship is equipped with 24 Zodiac boats, kayaks and two submarines, facilitating a whole host of epic adventures to bring you up close to the spectacular landscapes and wildlife of each destination you visit – all in the company of a world-class expedition team. The presentations and lectures delivered in the onboard Discovery Centre, meanwhile, offer the perfect introduction to the places you’ll be exploring.
And, after an action-packed day of shore excursions, there’s no better way to unwind and recharge than a sauna session or a soothing massage or beauty treatment at the spa. Keeping active onboard is no trouble, either, thanks to the excellently-equipped fitness centre.
