The lodge sits within the private Randilen Wildlife Management Area, a serene conservancy managed by local Maasai communities on the northern border of Tarangire National Park. This privileged location gives you access to Tarangire’s baobab-dotted plains and prolific elephant herds, while allowing for walking and night safaris closer to home. In addition to witnessing some of the largest elephant herds in Africa, the region is home to tree-climbing lions, herds of zebra and wildebeest, waterbuck, giraffes and over 550 species of birds.
There’s a sense of wonder as you ascend a wooden staircase and step into your generous treetop accommodation. Boasting an impressive floor space of 65 square metres, each of the 20 suites is richly decorated with hand-crafted furnishings and warm, natural fabrics creating an atmosphere of rustic elegance.
