On this luxury short break, you'll escape to the Veneto countryside and explore the stunning scenery near Lake Garda, where fine wines and decadent cuisine awaits. Staying at the 18th-century Villa Cordevigo, enjoy verdant gardens, Michelin-starred dining and villa suites exuding Renaissance charm. On a journey from grape to glass, you'll sample fine wines produced by the estate's own vineyards and the renowned wines from the nearby Valpolicella region on included tours. And, you'll have the chance to cook lunch with a real Italian nonna, preparing authentic Venetian and Lombard cuisine, where you'll certainly learn something new.


Day 1

Arrive in Verona

You’ll arrive at the airport and enjoy complimentary VIP lounge access before your flight. On arrival into Verona, you’ll be greeted and transferred to the Villa Cordevigo, a stunning 18th-century property, set amongst lush vineyards and verdant gardens. The former residence of Italian Nobles, each of the villa's 35 rooms are uniquely styled with Renaissance decor, rich fabrics and modern amenities – an idyllic place to unwind and relax.  After getting settled in, you'll head across the grounds to the Villabella Vineyards to meet Paolo, the villa sommelier, who'll take you on a journey from grape to glass. The terroirs of the 250 acre estate produce rich reds and crisps whites that pair perfectly with locally produced cured meats and cheeses, an excellent first day experience and an authentic taste of the region.

Day 2

Lunch with Nonna

Enjoy a lovely spread of cured meats, artisanal bread, perfectly poached eggs and a classic Italian espresso for breakfast, before a morning at leisure. Explore the vineyards at your own pace walking between the rows of grapes and vines, or, cycle around the estate on one of the villa available bicycles to easily cover more ground. For a truly authentic experience, join Nonna Antonia for a homely cooking class, where under her guidance you'll recreate authentic favourites and traditional dishes passed through generations – paired with fine Villabella wines. This evening make sure to book at table at the Michelin-starred Oseleta to continue your culinary journey where chef Marco Marras will showcase his unique twist on traditional favourites.

Day 3

Vineyards of Valpolicella

Embark on a half day tour of the well-known Valpolicella vineyards, where you'll taste some of the finest wines in the region. Head to Villa Mosconi Bertani, a picturesque estate and grounds dating bad to the 18th-century. Tour the grounds and gardens before heading into the cellar, the birthplace of Amarone wine and sample some the the fine reds and whites produced by the estate. Afterwards, you'll head to the modern Cantina Zymé, who's stunning design offers the perfect juxtaposition to Mosconi Bertani traditional style. Equally as impressive as the estates architecture, are the fine wines produced, which will surely tantalize the senses.

Day 4

Depart for UK

After a final indulgent breakfast and if time permits, head into historic Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and explore this vibrant Venetian city before your private transfer will take you to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
