Brijuni Islands: An unspoilt archipelago

Your next stop takes you to the Brijuni Islands, a stunning archipelago off the coast of Istria. Viewed from above, these fourteen islands form a colourful mosaic against the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea. With a mild climate and strategic location, the Brijuni Islands have been inhabited since the Bronze Age. Today's included excursion takes you to the largest island by boat, followed by a train ride to explore the ruins of a Roman villa from the 1st century BC. Arrival in Venice

After a final breakfast on board, you'll dock into Venice. Since the 6th century, the city has proudly held reign over its lagoon. Even before arriving, you might feel as though you already know Venice. However, the allure of the city's countless treasures – St. Mark's Square, the basilica, Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal and of course the timeless gondolas – is sure to captivate you. After disembarking, a private water taxi will escort you to your centrally located hotel tucked away beside the Grand Canal. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Housed in a magnificent 12th-century palazzo, the hotel boasts a rich history and is situated just steps from St. Mark's Square.
