Step inside the glistening white-and-blue world of the original ICEHOTEL on this deluxe three-night escape in Swedish Lapland. Spend a night in a Deluxe Suite in ICEHOTEL 365, intricately hand-carved using ice from the Torne River, before switching to a spacious, Scandi-style room in a warm part of the hotel for the remainder of your stay. An included snowmobile adventure will see you whizz across the snow-blanketed Arctic wilderness, before you experience an integral part of Swedish culture with an invigorating, 10-step private sauna ritual. Perhaps you’ll also take the opportunity to try your hand at ice fishing or husky sledding, with a whole host of other exhilarating activities on offer. You’ll also be treated to exclusive dining experiences, including a bespoke tasting menu at the ICE Restaurant and a Sami-themed, 12-course dinner at The Veranda, combining local traditions and Arctic ingredients with contemporary flair.
Fly to Kiruna (via Stockholm), deep inside the Arctic Circle. On arrival, a private transfer will whisk you to the ICEHOTEL, an architectural marvel sculpted using blocks of ice harvested from the Torne River. Collect your thermal clothing – complimentary throughout your stay – and once ready, settle into your Deluxe or Art Suite. A welcome package of sparkling wine and chocolate pralines awaits to get your Arctic adventure off to the perfect start. Each suite is individually designed and intricately hand-carved by international artists, with reindeer hides and thermal sleeping bags on the beds to keep you cosy, while Deluxe Suites also come with private warm bathrooms. Spend your first evening at the ICE Restaurant, with a bespoke tasting menu featuring local ingredients and dishes served on ice plates, perhaps followed by a drink or two at the ICE Bar.
Dinner included
Warm up with a morning sauna before enjoying a hearty breakfast to set yourself up for an action-packed day. First, you’ll be setting off on a guided snowmobiling adventure through the majestic Arctic wilderness – a thrilling way to discover the area’s frozen lakes, fells and snow-dusted forests. Make a stop for a traditional ‘fika’ by an open fire before returning to the ICEHOTEL. Today, you’ll be swapping your icy Deluxe or Art Suite for a stylish room in the warm part of the hotel. Later on, it’s time to soothe both mind and body with a 10-step sauna ritual. If you’re feeling brave enough, a quick plunge in the Torne River is highly recommended before retreating to the warmth of the sauna or hot tub.
Breakfast included
After breakfast, you’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy optional excursions, ranging from husky sledding and cross-country skiing to ice fishing and meeting local reindeer. Whether you’re yearning to explore more of Swedish Lapland’s resplendent nature or you’re keen to delve deeper into the region’s culture, there’s no shortage of activities to choose from. For dinner, you’ll be treated to the ICEHOTEL’s most exclusive dining experience at the nearby Veranda restaurant, where the chefs prepare a 12-course menu inspired by the eight Sami seasons and locally sourced produce. While you savour the delicious food and accompanying non-alcoholic beverages (an alcoholic beverage upgrade is also available), the chefs will tell you stories about each dish and the region’s culinary traditions.
Breakfast & Dinner included
After one last breakfast at the ICEHOTEL, a private transfer will take you back to Kiruna Airport for your onward flight.
