Pippa began exploring Europe as a child, travelling with her family to the likes of France, Italy, northern Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany. As a student she spent a year studying French at La Sorbonne in Paris and got to know the French capital extremely well, knowledge she has kept up to date by returning to France regularly with her French husband. She lists igloo building and dogsledding in Swedish Lapland, climbing the rock pinnacles of Cappadocia in Turkey, wine tasting in the vineyards of Bordeaux and exploring the canals of Venice among her favourite European travel experiences. Outside of Europe, Pippa's travels have been equally prolific, taking in such countries as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Botswana, Zimbabwe and French Polynesia.
