In more detail

You’ll find this hotel in a peaceful, rural spot in the northeast part of Catalonia, just outside the small village of Torrent and around 12 kilometres inland from the coast. A sense of serenity permeates throughout its private gardens and elegant communal spaces, set around a traditional farmhouse dating back to the 18th-century.

The rooms and suites here strike a fine balance between chic and cosy, featuring earthy colour tones, natural materials, soft lighting and spacious bathrooms with complimentary luxury toiletries and rainfall showers. Modern touches including 4K HD televisions, high-speed Wi-Fi access and Bluetooth speakers also come as standard, while some suites also come with their own private plunge pool and balcony or terrace with countryside views.

Dining here is a delight, from innovative, gourmet Catalan cuisine served at the Mas de Torrent Restaurant to more casual, grilled dishes at the poolside Las Brasas del Mas. Both place a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients and offer a plentiful choice of quality Spanish wines. Breakfast is served as a buffet, featuring plenty of fresh pastries, bread, fruit, cheeses and meats.

When it comes to relaxation, there’s a well-sized outdoor pool flanked by sunbeds and parasols, as well as a fabulous spa with a heated indoor pool, a sauna, a hammam and an extensive list of massages and beauty treatments available on request. And if you’re in the mood for something a little more active, be sure to check out the on-site tennis and paddle tennis courts – or take advantage of the well-equipped fitness centre.
