Located among the tranquil embrace of the Maremma countryside, this secluded resort rests at the foot of gentle hills, olive groves and vineyards. The azure coast and the charming town of Castiglione della Pescaia, crowned by a medieval castle, are merely a fifteen-minute drive away, while the historic city of Grosseto lies within a convenient twenty-minute journey. L’Andana’s accommodation is split between two main buildings – La Villa and La Casa, with the former containing 33 rooms and suites adorned in warm tones, Tuscan stone fireplaces, vintage furnishings and views of the surrounding Maremma landscape. The latter, with its 14 rooms and suites, provides private outdoor spaces and kitchenettes, with wood, leather, and marble featuring prominently in the decor. For heightened exclusivity, the Il Granaio suites offer concierge service and a private pool, while La Scuderia, a two-story villa, boasts its own pool and shaded porch.

In more detail

Dining is central to any stay at L'Andana, epitomised by the Michelin-starred La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini. Here, innovative Tuscan cuisine is prepared in an open kitchen, using a wood oven, and served in terracotta bowls, all within a wood-beamed dining room overlooking the gardens. Authenticity, simplicity, and seasonality guide the exquisite dishes, crafted from produce sourced from the resort's own gardens and vineyards. Restaurant La Villa provides a more relaxed atmosphere for lunches and dinners, emphasising Tuscan traditions amidst cypress and pine trees. Breakfast, too, is a celebration of fresh, local flavours. L'Andana's versatility allows for a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation. Guests can explore the countryside by bicycle or horseback, discover Maremma's beaches, or engage in sporting activities such as tennis and golf. For moments of tranquility, the outdoor pool and gardens offer serene spaces, while guided yoga sessions and the ESPA spa, with its vitality pool, steam room, and rejuvenating treatments, provide further avenues for relaxation.
