Combining buckets of festive cheer, fun-packed adventures and luxurious accommodation with all the trimmings, this is the perfect way to spend Christmas among the enchanting, snow-blanketed forests of Finnish Lapland. You’ll be staying in a stylish three-bedroom villa with its own sauna, Jacuzzi and cosy lounge with a fireplace, along with the first-class services of a personal host to ensure everything runs to plan and a private chef crafting exquisite home-cooked meals throughout your stay. Santa’s elves will also be on-hand with a raft of activities for the whole family, including a visit to Santa’s secret underground cavern and a gingerbread masterclass. You’ll also glide through the forests by reindeer sleigh and husky sled, while the evenings will bring opportunities to hunt the Northern Lights. It’s wrapped up with a private visit from Santa himself, followed by a delicious, three-course Lappish dinner served in a traditional ‘kota’ hut in the secret forest.
Your holiday begins with complimentary airport lounge access before flying from the UK to Rovaniemi, the gateway to Finnish Lapland. On arrival, a private transfer will take you to your Hidden Arctic Cloud Villa, where you’ll be greeted by a Christmas elf with a mystery waiting to be solved. Your personal host will explain how everything works as you settle into your luxury villa, which features a sauna, an outdoor terrace with a Jacuzzi and a cosy living room with a fireplace.
Later on, your private chef will prepare a delicious dinner showcasing the finest flavours of Lapland. The menu can, of course, be tailored to your tastes and requirements. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to head out in search of the Northern Lights with your own expert guide, either with snowshoes or by car. With a little luck regarding clear skies and solar activity, the aurora will cast its celestial glow in the night sky – so be sure to have your camera at the ready.
Dinner included
Start your morning with breakfast cooked by your private chef, after which the elves will arrive to get the day’s adventures and mystery-solving underway. You’ll then visit a local reindeer farm, gliding through the snow-covered forests on an enchanting sleigh ride as you learn about the culture of the region’s indigenous Sami people. Lunch is then served in a traditional Lappish hut, followed by a short transfer to Santa’s secret underground cavern.
Here, you’ll travel through this magical world by train, earn your own Elf Diploma, cross the Arctic Circle, visit the Ice Gallery and send your Christmas greetings at the Post Office – the perfect way to embrace the festive spirit. It’s then time to head back to the villa for another home-cooked dinner cooked by your private chef, and, if you fancy it and the conditions look promising, another Northern Lights hunt.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Today, the elves will lead you through the forest to Santa’s secret hut where the scent of Christmas treats hangs thick in the air. Here, you’ll get to build and decorate a gingerbread house while sipping a cup of hot cocoa by the fireplace – and you might even hear the footsteps of the man himself.
Head back to the villa for lunch and prepare for a thrilling afternoon in which you’ll glide through the snow-blanketed forests and across frozen lakes by husky sled, immersing yourself in the art of mushing. Typically, two people ride each sled, with one person driving and the other sitting. There will be an opportunity to swap roles along the way. There’s no better way than this to explore the region’s wild Arctic landscapes.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Fuel up with a hearty, home-cooked breakfast at your villa before venturing into the Secret Forest to the home of the elves, where the jolly Professor Elves will tell you their secrets and teach you new skills as you participate in Santa’s Helpers Training and earn your Elf Diploma. Next, they’ll lead you down the magical Fairytale Path to Santa’s secret Command Centre, where the elves are busy working away in preparation for Christmas.
You’ll also be taken on a guided tour of Santa’s Toy Factory, nestled deep in the forest and brimming with Christmas cheer. The elves will show you how they spend their days crafting festive goodies to be enjoyed around the world, and you’ll be able to have a go at making some yourself through a series of fun-packed activities. Once you’re done, return to the villa for dinner.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
You’ll be met by the elves this morning as you head out into the forest on a heated sleigh drawn by a snowmobile in search of your perfect Christmas tree. There’s also the option for adults aged over 18 (with a valid driver’s license) to drive the snowmobile. When you’ve found your ideal tree, it’s time to return to the villa to decorate it.
This afternoon brings one of the most magical moments of your trip, as Santa arrives at the villa for a private meeting and a present for every child. This intimate encounter allows you and your children to share your wishes with the man himself as he gives you his undivided attention and shares stories from the North Pole. Come nightfall, head out into the forest to a traditional ‘kota’ (Sami hut) for an authentic three-course Lappish dinner. What better way to wrap up your Christmas adventure?
