In more detail

The Sacred Valley of the Inca’s starts just 10 miles from Cusco and is studded with quaint towns and unsurpassed Inca ruins and archaeological sites along its way. Located around 4km from Urubamba town on the way to Ollantayatambo, the hotel is perfectly placed to explore the region. The rooms, suites and villas here are exceptional, built from natural stone and local timber, with large, private terraces and gardens benefitting from panoramic views over the valley. Back inside the light-filled rooms and suites, you’ll find king or queen beds with pima cotton sheets, a fully stocked minibar and beautiful marble and onyx bathrooms. If you’re after something a bit special, the two magnificent 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom two-storey villas are the last word in luxury. By the way, there are no in-room TVs here to preserve the sense of relaxation. With exquisitely picturesque scenery all around you, why would you want to watch anything else? There is however a fully equipped business centre so you can remain connected to the outside world during your escape. The hotel’s two restaurants fuse the area’s best-kept culinary secrets with delicious herbs and spices in regional dishes and international favourites, while a charming riverside bar serves signature cocktails as well as internationally renowned wines and spirits. The heated pool, Jacuzzis, and spa treatment rooms are the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the magical Sacred Valley and the range of outdoor activities available include horse riding, river rafting, learning about local flora and fauna or feeding the hotel’s resident baby alpacas.
