As one of Patagonia’s finest lodgings, everything here is tailor-made to your specification. You’ll be assigned your very own guide and vehicle to explore neighbouring Torres del Paine on a range of included activities, returning each day to tailor-made dining and your luxury timber cabin, complete with hot tub and wood burning stove. What's more, extending its private reserve to eight times its original size, the lodge has even founded South America's first puma foundation, meaning you can join the conservation team to check hidden cameras and head out puma tracking.

In more detail

Beautifully isolated and offering views over the wild forests, snow-capped mountains and shimmering lakes that have become Patagonia’s calling cards, this Awasi offering is idyllically located just outside the Torres del Paine National Park. It’s even sited on its own private reserve where gauchos herd horses and sheep while eagles and condors soar overhead.

And, with each guest assigned a private guide, you’ll enjoy an included, tailor-made itinerary of excursions to explore it all. There’s everything from lake fishing and wildlife hikes in the lodge’s private reserve to 4WD trips into the park and horse rides over the steppe with the local estancia’s gauchos. Return to gourmet dining where seasonal ingredients – sourced locally and from the kitchen garden – are prepared to your exacting taste. It’s Relais & Châteaux perfection immaculately presented.

What’s more there are just 14 private villas, each positioned in its own secluded section of the grounds. They’re a contemporary take on the Patagonian ranching outposts of yore, marrying timber design with clean, modernist lines; each features a wood burning stove, hot tub and cosy living room that make the most of the villa’s 80 square metres. You’ll even enjoy clear views of the eponymous sky-scraping granite spires of Torres del Paine along with sights of Lake Sarmiento or the Patagonian Steppe.
