Patagonia is a true frontier land where everything from surging waters to creaking glaciers have left their mark in towering mountains, glassy fjords and sweeping swathes of barren steppe. You’ll start by taking in Buenos Aires’ Latin flourishes with a tour of its colonial charm and a tango dinner before flying south to cruise the Patagonian fjords. Your purpose-built vessel will dip in and out of remote islands, giant icebergs and even rainforests as your expert naturalists point out the unique wildlife that’s adapted to a life in this most inhospitable of environments. Then, stays in a pair of all-inclusive luxury lodges will showcase the mountainous grandeur of Torres del Paine and the monolithic eponyms of Glacier National Park in included guided hikes and private tours.

"This luxury adventure offers a stunning variety of natural beauty; one day you'll marvel at the towering ‘hornos’ of Torres del Paine National Park, and the next, watch as truck-sized blocks of ice break off Perito Moreno Glacier. It's all combined with an exploratory cruise to 'the end of the earth', passing Cape Horn and plunging through Darwin's Beagle Channel to discover whole colonies of penguins hidden among a series of sublime, interconnecting fjords. And, with a stay in tango-mad Buenos Aires, this tour is – for me – an unmatched appreciation of some of South America's undisputed highlights."
