On arrival in Santiago, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city’s artistic heart. The following morning, a guided tour of the highlights introduces you to Santiago’s eclectic charms, including the notorious coffee culture at the various cafés con piernas. You’ll explore the historic Santa Lucia Hill before continuing through the European-influenced Paris-Londres neighbourhood and onto the bustling Central Market. Enjoy a Cola de Mono – a traditional Chilean drink – as you soak up the sights and sounds of this colourful metropolis, before a walk through the fragrant flower market and a cultural tour of the Lastarria Neighbourhood round off your day. Back at your hotel, head to the open-air rooftop bar for a hand-mixed cocktail overlooking the San Cristobal hill.

Depart Santiago and fly north to the Atacama Desert, where your spectacular all-inclusive lodge awaits. Today you'll be transferred to Calama Airport for your return flight to Santiago. A further transfer will see you to the garden city of Viña del Mar, where your guide will bring you along the waterfront and through some of the city's most peaceful gardens. Then, in UNESCO-listed Valparaiso, hop on the cable car for panoramic views of the city before a guided walk along the historic Atkinson and Gervasoni boardwalks. After a visit to the landmark Plaza Sotomayor, honouring the heroes of the Pacific War, you'll end your day of touring at La Sebastiana museum, dedicated to Nobel prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda. Your accommodation tonight is a boutique manor house, meticulously restored in a modern style whilst retaining its historic features. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the bay before retiring to your room.

This morning you will leave Valparaiso and head back towards Santiago, pausing en route at the Matetic Winery – world-renowned for its organic viticulture. During your visit you will learn about wine production, tour the facilities and, of course, participate in a curated wine tasting. Enjoy a delicious lunch before transferring to Santiago Airport to board your connecting flight to Mendoza, Argentina. On arrival, you'll be whisked away to your luxury Relais & Chateaux lodge, Cavas Wine Lodge, nestled at the foot of the Andes.

Today you'll be transferred to the airport for your connecting flight to Buenos Aires. Your hotel for the next few days is one of the most luxurious in the city, tucked away in elegant La Recoleta and surrounded by broad boulevards, manicured parks, and classical buildings. On day 12, you'll be whisked away on a city tour of the elegant turn-of-the-century districts that Buenos Aires is known for. From the charming cobbled alleys and colonial architecture of San Telmo, to the brightly coloured buildings of La Boca, and along to the Plaza de Mayo, dominated by landmark buildings, you'll discover the heart of this vibrant city. Then, it's time to discover a different, more nostalgic side of Argentina, with an authentic tango show and dinner experience. In the award-winning Faena Hotel, in a night club designed to revive the nostalgia of a time gone by, you'll be served a delicious three-course meal and wine as you take in the pounding rhythms and sensual movements of the Argentine tango.
