British Airways Business Class Sale

The British Airways Business Class Sale is now on, with superb savings to a wide range of destinations. Book by 5 November.

Highlights

  • The cutting-edge design of the incredible villas and beautiful public areas
  • Spectacular views over the vineyard and Andes Mountains
  • The lodge’s resident gauchos that are equal personal tour guide, concierge, and entertaining storyteller – they create truly memorable experiences

Positioned on its very own vineyard, the designer villas, spa pools and indulgent restaurant of The Vines Resort command idyllically green views, framed by soaring peaks. Take it all in with a range of active excursions or enjoy some time out with massages and tastings. Comprising nearly two thirds of Argentina’s vineyards, you’ll know Mendoza for its malbecs that grace the tables of the world’s finest restaurants. And, this is your chance to stay right among its unique heritage with the Vines Resort & Spa host to its very own, well, vines. Walking tracks lead through gardens and vineyard rows whose produce is showcased in a delightful small-batch winery. It’s scenery that’s best explored on hikes, fly fishing trips and horseback rides accompanied by gaucho cowboys.

In more detail

You’ll return to luxurious accommodation that comes in the form of 22 villas, spaced considerately among the resort’s green grounds. Each is delightfully chic, featuring artsy furnishings and oversized decks that enjoy views over the region’s vineyard-speckled scenery. For some added luxury, upgrade to a Deluxe Villa for outdoor hot tubs and fireplaces complemented by plunge pools and rooftop terraces.

As you’d imagine, the dining here is particularly good. Argentinian celebrity chef Francis Mallman serves up open-flame asado barbecues, augmented with ingredients sourced from the resort’s gardens. Highlights included rib eye steaks grilled for nine hours on an open flame. And, with an open kitchen, you know the chef has something to be confident about.

After dinner, perhaps retire to the bar where a sommelier will guide you through the cellar’s extensive collection of labels. And, following your day’s activities, perhaps book a treatment in the spa or relax in the pool and accompanying hot tub where attentive waiters serve cocktails and snacks. For the more actively inclined, there’s a gym and climbing wall along with yoga sessions held at the lake.
