A journey on the Rocky Mountaineer is among the world's truly special rail experiences. You’ll start with Vancouver’s coastal charms, all sweeping parklands, creative neighbourhoods and pretty harbour views, before boarding the iconic glass-domed train and traversing through the Rockies. It’s all topped off with fine dining and included drinks and snacks throughout. You'll enjoy included tours in Banff with included gondola ride, finishing in the wild-west delights of Calgary. It's all knitted together with included transfers and stays in some of the region's finest hotels and luxury lodges.

Located right in the heart of the city, so you’ll be perfectly poised to explore. You have two days to explore pretty waterfront walks, historic cobbled-street districts and even the small matter of the third largest Chinese garden outside of China. Put together and it’s no surprise that Vancouver often tops lists of the world’s most liveable cities.
Today, a transfer will transport you to the station where you’ll board the Rocky Mountaineer. Whether you choose the glass-domed carriages and gourmet, in-seat meals of the SilverLeaf service (Superior) or the dining-car indulgences of the split-level GoldLeaf alternative (Deluxe), today’s route is one of the most impressive. You will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River.
