It's hard to decide which season comes up trumps here, though the snow-blanketed winter scenery certainly provide a magical backdrop for myriad adventures, from skating and curling on Lake Mildred to tobogganing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. When summer rears its head for a few glorious months, there’s chances to hop on a mountain bike or head out hiking or horse riding, or take to the water with fly-fishing, paddle-boarding or canoeing on Beauvert Lake.
