Venice Simplon-Orient-Express: Budapest to London

Then, slip into one of the city’s thriving cafés, born from bohemian roots, to tuck into coffee and strudel.

Restored, you'll cross the Danube on the famed Chain Bridge to contrast Pest’s sights with the citadels, cobblestone streets and royal palaces of Buda. Finally, satiated, return to your cabin, which has artfully been converted into a cosy sleeping compartment and retire for the night.

Begin your last day onboard with a delicious Continental breakfast served in your cabin, as you race across France, disembarking in the heart of Paris. On arrival, make your way to your accommodation, which is perfectly placed to explore the best of the French capital. Perhaps you'll choose to see the sights, from iconic Notre Dame to the grand artworks of the Louvre. Or, take a stroll along the cobblestones of Montmartre, pausing for a cafe or a glass of wine before taking in sweeping city views from the steps of the Sacre Coeur. 

You'll then make your way the short journey to Gare du Nord where you'll board the Eurostar for the final leg of your journey back to London.
