Then as dusk falls, feast on exceptional local dishes, from Sweden’s best caviar to Arctic char caught in the rivers nearby and melt-in-the-mouth moose steaks. See out the evening gazing across the tundra or up at the star-strewn skyscape from the Lodge’s private outdoor hot tub.

Spend two unforgettable days exploring the unspoiled and wild wintery landscape, where nature is writ large. Choose one of the included excursions per day, including Cross-country Skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobile adventure or practice your photography skills and experiment with a Swedish baking class. There is also ample opportunity to add further adventures whether that be a husky safari, horseback riding or a visit to a Sami reindeer herder.

Back at the lodge, make the snowy dash to the wood-fired sauna. After unwinding over another superb dinner consider making the short hike from your steps to a clearing in the pine forest that makes for a wonderful viewing point for the playful, surreal Northern Lights.
