In more detail

Just outside the seaside resort of Baja Sardinia on the island’s northern coast, the Grand Relais dei Nuraghi enjoys a privileged location on a natural rock formation with wonderful views of the Maddalena Archipelago. It blends seamlessly with its Mediterranean woodland surroundings, offering a serene environment for relaxation and an ideal launchpad for exploring Sardinia’s northern region.

Light, natural colour tones lend the rooms and suites a fresh, summery feel, with plenty of space in which to unwind both inside and outside, either on a private terrace or in a private garden. Some suites also come with access to a private pool and a patio furnished with armchairs and deckchairs, allowing for refreshing dips and sunbathing sessions in total privacy.

Mornings here start with a delicious buffet breakfast on the poolside terrace, while the Restaurant Tramonti serves gourmet Italian and Mediterranean-themed dishes, including the likes of risotto and fresh seafood. The poolside terrace doubles up as a lovely spot for an evening drink, too, particularly when watching the sun set over the sea.

As well as the outdoor pool, dips in the sea are always an option, with a private beach just a short stroll away. You’ll find sun loungers and parasols here, along with a bar serving drinks and refreshments until the early evening. Some of Sardinia’s finest beaches can also be found in the vicinity, particularly on the Costa Smeralda, which is renowned for its swathes of pristine white sand and crystal clear water.
