Day 1

Arrive in Singapore (Thursday 8th October)

On arrival, your private transfer whisks you to The Ritz‑Carlton Millenia—an oasis of art, architecture and sweeping city panoramas. Settle into your elegant Elevated Kallang Room and enjoy a leisurely afternoon, easing into Singapore’s sophisticated rhythm before your Grand Prix weekend begins. Days 2 – 4

The Singapore Grand Prix (Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October)

Step aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express (Monday 12th October)

After a free morning to explore Singapore at your own pace, a private transfer escorts you to the station to join the iconic green‑and‑cream carriages of the Eastern & Oriental Express. Settle into your chic Pullman Cabin as the train glides through the Malaysian countryside. Enjoy afternoon tea against a backdrop of emerald landscapes before a gourmet dinner and elegant evening entertainment in the Dining Car.

Day 6

Taman Negara National Park & Kuala Lumpur (Tuesday 13th October)

You wake to breakfast served as the train travels along the enchanting Jungle Railway, revealing some of Malaysia’s most untouched wilderness. After lunch, you disembark at Merapoh for explorations in Taman Negara, a 130‑million‑year‑old rainforest rich in wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Here, you choose the experience that resonates with you: tracking the habitat of the critically endangered Malayan tiger with expert conservationists; joining a nature photographer for a creative immersion into the rainforest’s hidden details; cycling by e‑bike through striking cave systems; or embracing a restorative wellness journey of forest bathing, sunrise yoga and sound meditation. Later, you return to the train for lunch and a serene afternoon, followed by another exquisite dinner.

Day 7

Penang: Culture, art & cuisine (Wednesday 14th October)

After breakfast, you cross to Penang Island for a day that celebrates Malaysia’s cultural richness. Art enthusiasts can explore George Town’s Old Quarter on the back of a Vespa, meeting local artists in their studios and uncovering the district’s vibrant architectural history. Food lovers may prefer a culinary adventure, beginning with market visits to procure spices and ingredients before learning to prepare distinctive Peranakan dishes. Alternatively, you may explore independently, using a tri‑shaw, driver and map to wander through the city’s colourful streets at your own pace.

You return to the train at Butterworth for lunch and a restful afternoon, perhaps with a pampering session at the Dior Spa, before continuing to Ipoh. There, you may enjoy a stroll through the city’s charming colonial avenues and contemporary art scene before returning to the train for a celebratory final evening of exceptional cuisine and entertainment.

Day 8

Return to Singapore (Thursday 15th October)

Your final morning aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express begins with a leisurely breakfast as the train glides through the green landscapes of Johor. Soon, you cross the strait back into Singapore, where you'll arrive at around 10:20am. A private transfer will then see you to the airport for your journey home, bringing your remarkable adventure—filled with thrilling racing moments, wild landscapes and refined luxury—to a close.
