From predator-stalked plains to palm-fringed beaches, Tanzania is a land of wild contrast. You’ll take it all in on this fly safari as a series of Cessna flight hops knit together the endless landscapes and thriving wildlife of the country’s national treasures – the iconic Serengeti, lesser-visited Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, the ‘Garden of Eden’. And, you’ll travel in style, with everything from gourmet dining and sundowner drinks to transfers, expert-led game drives and stays in luxurious tented camps included throughout. You’ll then end on Tanzania's spice island, Zanzibar, for some white-sands relaxation in an ultra-luxury resort.
Begin your trip with included lounge access before your overnight flight.
Arriving into Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by a private driver who’ll bring you into the depths of Tanzanian coffee country – Arusha. Here, your luxury lodge is sited on its very own plantation, with your private verandah the perfect place to drink it all in.
Perhaps explore with a tasting tour or a visit to the next-door art collective before enjoying your lodge’s gourmet dining and the chance to relax by your room’s log fire.
Breakfast included
Following a private transfer and flight, you'll be met, along with any other arriving guests for the drive to your luxury tented suite – one of just 12 in an exclusive corner of Tarangire National Park. Here, elephants amble over endless plains, leopards laze under giant baobab trees and lions stalk in the long grass. You’ll take it all in on included twice-daily game drives. But, the wildlife will even come to you, with the lodge’s infinity pool and your private verandah overlooking an exclusive waterhole, favoured by bull elephants and lions. You’ll also return to all-inclusive fine dining – often taken in the bush – and complimentary drinks by the campfire.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Your next flight, again sandwiched by included transfers, will bring you to your luxurious tented camp on the very rim of Ngorongoro Crater. All antique furnishing and darkwood timber, it’s the chance to relive the golden age of safaris, complete with all-inclusive drinks and dining. Be sure to enjoy a sundowner as dusk sweeps over the crater below before heading down among its montane forests and lake-studded grasslands on an included game drive. Comprising Africa’s highest concentration of predators, the park features everything from hippos and rhino to zebra and cheetah.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
After an included flight and its accompanying transfers, you’ll arrive at the only permanent camp in the Serengeti’s southern region for further all-inclusive luxury. It’s a privileged position, with the verandah of your personal-attendant-served tent overlooking the sweeping plains that host the region’s famed migration. Between mid-December and March, wildebeest in their hundreds of thousands thunder through the grasslands, bringing with them scores of predators. Other than spotting the likes of giraffe, elephant and hyena on the usual twice-daily game drives, you’ll also be treated to stargazing bush walks and a chance to join the Serengeti Cheetah Project, heading out to track and note these magnificent creatures.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Finish with four days to relax on an island paradise, reached by a last domestic flight and a private transfer. Hidden away on the island’s idyllic southern coast, you’ll arrive at what is arguably Zanzibar’s most luxurious option, its tropical gardens looking out over a mile of white sands. You’ll stay in a flawlessly contemporary villa, relaxing with a private pool, outdoor lounge and canopied four-poster bed. The resort is also host to everything from spa treatments, infinity pools and fine-dining restaurants to tennis courts, a gym and a full spread of watersports. Don’t forget to visit the wild dolphins on a glass-bottom boat cruise and call in to UNESCO-listed Stone Town, an alleyway maze that’s awash with Arabic, European and African charm.
Breakfast & Dinner included
After a final gourmet breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.

"I've designed this itinerary to showcase the very best of these two beautiful destinations. By starting in Tanzania, you'll begin with true excitement, as you spot a number of superb game on a luxurious safari. End in Zanzibar, where you can put your feet up on the beach and reflect on the holiday as the pace slows right down. That's not to mention the incredible tour of a coffee plantation in Arusha to kick things off, where you'll even stay at a lodge based inside a plantation – it's a real rarity and something you'll be talking about for years to come."
