Day 1

Depart for Kenya

You’ll begin your trip in style with included VIP airport lounge access, after which you’ll board your overnight flight to Nairobi, arriving on day two.


Day 2

Arrive into lively Nairobi

Arrive into Nairobi, Kenya’s lively capital, and quickly get through immigration with the fast track service included. A private transfer will take you to your boutique accommodation for the evening. After a long day of travel, take the time to relax by the pool with a good book or indulge at the on-site spa. Speak to our specialists about adding a trip to Giraffe Centre or Sheldrick's Wildlife Trust to get your first experience with Africa's  iconic animals.

Days 3 – 4

Explore Amboseli National Park

After breakfast and a short briefing, a private transfer will take you to the Nairobi-Wilson airport for a flight aboard a small executive aircraft with a maximum of eight passengers. Head south towards Amboseli National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants which can reach 100 strong and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a game drive right from the airstrip as you enjoy the diverse ecosystem, which will offer plenty of opportunities to spot buffalo, lions, hyenas, zebra and cheetahs. Staying at an award-winning ecotourism camp, Elewana Tortilis Camp offers a low environmental impact without compromising luxury. 17 elegantly styled thatch tents with private en suite bathrooms, polished finishes and private verandahs. Days 5 – 6

Conservation efforts at Loisaba

Fly north to the Loisaba Conservancy for a truly distinct Kenyan experience. Set amongst the rolling river valleys and rich forest, the Loisaba Conservancy is home to the iconic Big Five as well as diverse bird species and even the endangered wild dog. Instead of the usual game drive, try exploring the area by horseback, a thrilling way to get unusually close to the wildlife. During your stay, you can also learn about the extraordinary efforts to tackle poaching with highly trained dogs at the conservations headquarters. Enjoy two nights at Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp which features contemporary luxe with modern cuisine, attentive hosts and an infinity pool with Mount Kenya as the backdrop. After your included spa treatment, roll your four-poster bed onto your private deck and gaze at the night sky and listen to the sounds of the wild.

Days 7 – 8

Discover the world-renowned Masai Mara

Take a scenic flight into the Masai Mara, one of the premier wildlife experiences in Kenya, where you’ll begin your stay with a game drive en route to the Elewana Sand River camp. With old-world 1920s style, dark wood and draped four-poster beds, this antique style is more akin to a movie set and brings the bygone era to the Mara. Located on the banks of the serene Sand River, wildlife viewing will be plentiful from the comfort of your verandah. Expert Masai guides with deep knowledge of wildlife and culture will take you on morning and afternoon game drives - the main attraction of the Mara. Enjoy sundowner drinks over the plains where zebra and wildebeest can be seen grazing for miles, taking in this once in a lifetime experience.

Days 9 – 11

Extended Stay in Serengeti National Park

Today you'll say goodbye to Kenya and head to the Serengeti, located in northern Tanzania. The Serengeti is abundant with game, and with its vast 14,763sq km area, migrating animals are always on the move. An extra night in the Serengeti is welcome, offering more time to explore and track fantastic animals and species. If timed right, the migration in the summer months can see close to a million animals migrating north, daring to cross the crocodile-infested Mara River. The chosen camp for this stay will depend on the time of year, with Pioneer Camp ideal for year-round stays and Migration Camp better placed for the migrating months. Whilst out on game drives, enjoy packed picnics with local favourites and sundowner G&Ts in the evening, watching the sunset over the plains of the Serengeti.

Days 12 – 13

Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater

After an unforgettable time in the Serengeti, fly east to Lake Manyara where you will be met on arrival and transferred to lunch at the Lake. After enjoying lunch, join a game drive en route to the lodge, where hippos can be seen in the shallows as well as a flamboyance of flamingos on the water. Your final two nights will be spent at the elegant Cape Dutch-style cottage, The Manor. Spend the next two days fully immersed in the biodiversity which is unique to the Ngorongoro crater. At over 20km wide and 600 metres deep, this natural volcanic amphitheatre is home to the highest density of animals in Africa at over 30,000. Explore the crater from its edge with views across the horizon, before descending down to its floor to find grazing zebras and herds of wildebeest.

Days 14 – 15

Departure for UK

Enjoy a final breakfast before flying to Arusha, where you’ll be greeted and taken to the Arusha Coffee Lodge until your flight home. Relax in your day room or stroll amid the gardens and plantations, grabbing one final cup of smooth Kilimanjaro java. You'll arrive back in the UK the following day.

Extend your stay with additional time on the beautiful sandy beaches of Zanzibar, only a short flight from Kilimanjaro.
